The pros and cons
Now, we get to the juicy part: the pros and cons of the course. Firstly, I will cover all the things I LOVE about Gold City Ventures' E-Printables course.
What I Love About The Course
The first few modules of the course are pretty standard, as they introduce you to exactly how to set up your Etsy store. In Module 1 to Module 3, the course covers pretty much everything from printable ideas, commercial use guide and some basic house keeping when it comes to selling digital products on Etsy.
I love the variety of video and text tutorials, as I learn well from both types of media. However, I do prefer text to video sometimes but that is just my preference. If you enjoy learning from video, then you will definitely go through the course content very quickly.
My favorite modules are 6 to 8 where the course teaches you how to make editable printables and packaging them for bigger profit. It is definitely the modules that changed the course of my Etsy store, from making no sales at all to making sales every single month on autopilot.
Besides those modules, I also particularly love Module 11 which goes over keyword research, as well as Modules 12 and 13 which covers all things Etsy ads and shop optimisation.
What I Don't Love About The Course
While we are being fully transparent about the course, here are some things I don't particularly LOVE about the course.
As I have a few years of digital marketing experience under my belt, I expected more in-depth SEO training from this course. I also wish the course covered more extensively about how to find profitable niches on Etsy, as the keyword research training was pretty basic.
I also really enjoyed the VIP Facebook group and the community, so I did not love the fact that it is no longer available to me after 30 days of purchasing the course(it is a 30-day trial).
You can still get access to the private Facebook group if you have enrolled in the VIP Facebook group after the 30-day trial. That being said, I loved the support Julie and Cody provided within the Facebook group while I was an active member as they were highly responsive and supportive.
